Publishing Studies at University of Pretoria

Applications are invited for the Wits BA Publishing Studies Honours Degree course for 2010. It is ideally suited for promising employees who need to gain a broader perspective on the publishing industry in order for them to be effective managers within your business. The course can be taken over 1 year full time (3 lectures a week 4-6 pm) or 2 years part time (1 or 2 lectures a week 4-6 pm). The course focuses on the practice of book publishing, while looking at the trends that are likely to shape the future of our industry.

Commissioning and Costing books - Lecturer: Bridget Impey and Maggie Davey, Jacana Media
Management and Finance - Lecturer: Colleen Dawson
